AMSOIL offers two classes of industrial synthetic lubricants: SG Series extreme pressure lubricants and RC Series R&O / AW lubricants. When the gear application requires an extreme pressure (EP) lubricant the AMSOIL Synthetic SG Series oil is the primary recommendation. For gear and bearing applications, and circulating systems, requiring Rust & Oxidation (R&O) and anti-wear (AW) additives the AMSOIL Synthetic RC Series is the primary recommendation.
